Second meeting of the Mauritanian NIC, 25 February 2016, in Nouakchott, Mauritania

On 25 February 2016 the second meeting of the National Inter ministry Committee (NIC) of Mauritania was held in Hotel Wissal of Nouakchott, Mauritania. The opening ceremony was chaired by the Adviser to the Mauritanian Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy. It was covered by the press through a broadcast during the 8 pm national newscast on 25 February 2016 in French and Arabic and an article published in the newspaper Horizons on 26 February 2016. The meeting provided an opportunity to further inform representatives of the different sectors at the national level, to discuss national activities to be undertaken and facilitate the understanding of the Strategic Plan of Action (SAP) as well as its signature by the authorities.
