Component 1: Multi-country process and frameworks for understanding and addressing priority transboundary concerns
This "process" component aims initially at enhanced multi-country understanding and agreement on transboundary issues through the development of a Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (TDA). This will include a mechanism for stakeholders involvement. The component will also focus on the development of sustainable legal and institutitional frameworks for regional cooperation on the CCLME.
The project will establish ad hoc Technical Working Groups where necessary for the orientation and implementation of the assessment and survey work and other activities.
