Regional ecosystem survey in the CCLME area from 20 October to 21 December 2011 from Guinea to Morocco

The Project on the "Protection of the Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem" (CCLME) will organize in close collaboration with the project "Strenghtehning the knowledge base for implementing an ecosystem approach to marine fisheries in developing countries" (EAF-NANSEN), both projects implemented by FAO, a regional ecosystem survey, on board Dr FRIDJTOF NANSEN, in the CCLME area from 20 october to 21 december 2011.

The Project on the "Protection of the Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem" (CCLME) will organize in close collaboration with the project "Strenghtehning the knowledge base for implementing an ecosystem approach to marine fisheries in developing countries" (EAF-NANSEN), both projects implemented by FAO, a regional ecosystem survey, on board Dr FRIDJTOF NANSEN, in the CCLME area from 20 october to 21 december 2011. Scientists from the seven CCLME countries and partner countries such as Spain, the USA, Norway will participate in the survey covering the sub-region from Guinea , in the South, to Morocco, in the North.
